Aromajoin Corporation, founded in Kyoto, Japan in 2012, is the leading startup in scent-controllable technology, originating from the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Japan. Our main goal is to digitalize aromas and create a new communication channel in addition to words, images, and audio.
Job description
Structural element analysis using fluid simulation, and optimization of the scent-presentation space.
Requirements
- Experience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD.
- Experience with fluid simulation and analysis is an advantage.
- Experience with the structural design of hairdryers, air purifiers, or cameras — or the mechanical design of robots — is preferred.
- Education: technical college degree, bachelor’s degree, graduate degree, or higher.
- Language: TOEIC 600 or above (daily-conversation level) is an advantage.
- Non-smoking office. As this role works with fragrance, we kindly ask people with a smoking habit to refrain from applying.
Work conditions
- Working hours: 09:00 – 18:00 (60-minute lunch break).
- Overtime: Yes (about 20 hours per month on average).
- Holidays: Discretionary labor system. Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and the New Year holiday (December 31 – January 3, 4 days).
